Percussion 2: Suspended Cymbals
Percussion 3: Wind Chimes, Tam-Tam, as many triangles as possible*

August Morn is a short piece for wind ensemble which depicts an August sunrise. The clarinets begin the piece, and as more instruments are added, the sun breaks through. A moment of reflection about the morning follows, before the sunrise comes back again at its full breadth.
